What we do: audit, research, on-page, technical, local and off-page SEO

SEO is six jobs that support each other. As an SEO agency we do all six, in the order your site needs them.

  • Audit

A technical SEO audit of crawling, indexing, speed, mobile usability, structured data and content, with every issue ranked by impact. Our technical SEO guide covers what we check.

  • Research

Keyword and competitor research to find the searches your customers make, what ranks for them today and where you can realistically win.

  • On-page

Titles, descriptions, headings, internal links and content that answer the search, page by page. Where pages are missing, our SEO content writing team writes them.

  • Technical

Fixes for speed, crawl errors, redirects, duplicate pages, sitemaps and schema. Our Core Web Vitals guide explains the speed side.

  • Local

Local SEO services for businesses that serve an area: Google Business Profile optimization, a page for each location, location schema and consistent business details everywhere.

  • Off-page

Link building through content worth citing, partners and local organizations, never bought links that put your site at risk.

How an SEO engagement runs

Every engagement starts with an audit, because the right first move depends on what is holding your site back.

  1. Audit and analyze

We review the site’s technical health, content and current rankings, and set the baseline we will report against.

  2. Keyword research and competitor analysis

We map the searches that matter to each page, so pages stop competing with each other, and see what the sites above you do differently.

  3. On-page optimization

We fix titles, headings, internal links and content, page by page, starting with the pages closest to bringing in leads.

  4. Off-page SEO and link building

We build authority with links and mentions from relevant sites and, for local businesses, consistent listings and a well-kept Google Business Profile.

Reporting: rankings, traffic and leads

We agree what success looks like before work starts, then report on it every month in plain language. Three numbers matter most.

  • Rankings

Positions for the keywords we agreed, including local map results where they apply, and how they move month to month.

  • Traffic

Organic visits from Google Search Console and your analytics, and which pages earn them.

  • Leads

Enquiries, calls and bookings that came from organic search, because traffic is only useful if it turns into business.

We will not promise a position on page one. Google’s own advice on hiring an SEO (opens in a new tab) says no one can guarantee a top ranking, and warns against anyone who claims to. Wondering whether to put budget into ads instead? Our comparison of Google Ads vs SEO sets out when each one pays off.

Questions about SEO

Short answers first. Anything else, ask us directly.

How long does SEO take to work?

Usually months rather than weeks. Technical fixes can show once Google recrawls the pages, while competitive rankings take longer. As one example, Rehab Carolina’s organic traffic grew 185% within six months of its new site and SEO work.

What is a technical SEO audit?

A technical SEO audit checks whether search engines can crawl, render and index your site, and whether it is fast and mobile-friendly. It covers errors, redirects, duplicate pages, sitemaps, structured data and Core Web Vitals, and ranks each issue by impact.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No. Google decides rankings, and its own guidance warns against anyone who guarantees them. We commit to the work, a clear plan and honest monthly reports on rankings, traffic and leads.

What is local SEO?

Local SEO helps a business appear when people nearby search for what it offers, in the map results and the ordinary results. It covers your Google Business Profile, a page for each location, consistent business details and reviews.

Should I invest in SEO or Google Ads?

Often both. Ads bring traffic from the day they launch, but you pay for every click. SEO takes longer and keeps working without a cost per click. Many businesses start ads for quick leads while SEO builds.

A short message is enough. We read every enquiry personally and reply with honest next steps, even if that means pointing you elsewhere.
