MarQira FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the 26 questions people ask us most: what MarQira does, websites, SEO and marketing, WordPress management and WPCentrify, how quotes work and how long projects take.

Working with us

Who we are, who we work with and how a project starts.

What does MarQira do?

MarQira is a digital marketing and web design agency. We design and build websites, mostly on WordPress and WooCommerce. We also manage and secure WordPress sites, run SEO, content, pay-per-click and social media campaigns, create brand design and automate lead handling. We have worked with businesses across the US, UK and Europe since 2017. See all eight services.

Can you show previous work?

Yes. Our case studies show what we built and, where clients have shared them, the results: physical therapy practices in South Carolina, a WooCommerce membership store, a TikTok LIVE creator agency, a startup brand and a 21-page SEO-first site for a cleaning company.

Do you work with businesses in South Carolina?

Yes. South Carolina is one of our strongest client bases: healthcare and rehabilitation practices, contractors and local businesses. Clients include Rehab Carolina and Charleston Hand Therapy Center in the Charleston area, and we still manage Rehab Carolina’s website today. Our work in South Carolina.

Do you have an office in South Carolina?

No. Many of our clients are in South Carolina, including healthcare practices in the Charleston area, but we have no office there. We work with clients across the US, the UK and Europe by email and call. See our South Carolina work.

Do you work with businesses outside the United States?

Yes. We have worked with businesses across the US, the UK and Europe since 2017, and our case studies include a creator agency serving the USA, Canada and the MENA region. Read more about MarQira.

How do you choose the right strategy for a client?

We start with your business, not a package. After an intro call and a short discovery questionnaire or workshop, we agree what success means and scope the work to reach it, then measure every initiative against those goals. See how we work.

How do I start a project?

Tell us about it through the project enquiry form. We read every enquiry personally and reply within 1 hour with next steps and an honest view of what it will take.

Websites

Design, build, e-commerce and what happens at launch.

What tools and technologies do you use?

Most of our websites are custom WordPress builds, and online stores run on WooCommerce. We connect forms, CRMs and inboxes with Zapier, and we look after WordPress sites with WPCentrify, the management platform we build ourselves. How we design and build websites.

Do you build online stores?

Yes, on WooCommerce. For DROBE Stogies, a private cigar lounge, we built a WooCommerce site with memberships; membership sign-ups rose 45% and online sales 30% within three months of launch, as reported in the case study. Read the DROBE Stogies case study.

Will my new website be ready for search engines?

Yes. Launch-ready SEO is part of our web design service: a clear page structure, fast pages, a title and description for every page, and redirects from old URLs so existing rankings carry over. Web design and development covers what is included.

Can you redesign my site without losing my rankings?

Yes, if the move is planned. The essentials are mapping every old URL to its new page with a permanent (301) redirect, keeping the content that ranks, and checking Search Console closely after launch. Our website redesign SEO checklist lists every step.

Who looks after the site after launch?

We can. Our WordPress management service handles updates, backups, security and uptime, and we still manage the website we built for Rehab Carolina.

SEO and marketing

Search, content, paid ads, social media and reporting.

What does your SEO service include?

Technical and on-page SEO, local SEO, keyword and competitor research, and link building, based on an audit of where your site stands today. See our SEO services.

Do you write the content too?

Yes. We write articles and blog posts, website and landing-page copy, and product descriptions, researched for what people search and written to convert. We also refresh content that has slipped. SEO content writing.

Which advertising platforms do you manage?

Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and paid social campaigns, with precise targeting, ongoing optimization and plain-language reporting. Pay-per-click advertising.

Which social media platforms do you work on?

Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok: content calendars, posts, stories and video, community management and performance reports. Social media management.

How will I know it is working?

We agree what success looks like before work starts, then report on it in plain language. That means keyword rankings and traffic for SEO, campaign performance for paid ads, and engagement and follower growth for social media. How we report on SEO.

WordPress management and WPCentrify

Keeping WordPress sites updated, secure and online, and the platform we built to do it.

What is WPCentrify?

WPCentrify is MarQira’s own WordPress management platform. Every update goes through seven safety checks with automatic rollback. Uptime is checked every 60 seconds, backups are restore-tested and clients get white-label reports. It is free while in early access. How WPCentrify works.

What does WordPress management cover?

Core, plugin and theme updates, security monitoring, backups and restores, and speed optimization. Every update goes through WPCentrify’s seven-stage check before it reaches your live site. WordPress management.

Do I need to change my hosting?

No. WPCentrify works with WP Engine, Kinsta, SiteGround, Cloudways, Bluehost, Hostinger, GoDaddy and others, as well as your own VPS or a cPanel or Plesk server. A small connector plugin goes on the site and it stays where it is. Supported hosts.

Can I use WPCentrify myself?

Yes. It is free during early access, with no credit card needed, and it is built for agencies, freelancers and business owners who run WordPress sites. WPCentrify early access.

Pricing and timelines

How quotes work and how long projects take.

How much does a website or marketing project cost?

It depends on scope, so we do not publish prices. An online store with memberships needs more than a lead-generation site, and the marketing you want alongside it changes the quote too. Tell us about the project through the enquiry form and we come back with a quote for the work you actually need.

How long does a new website take?

A business website typically takes 4–6 weeks. Larger builds and ongoing marketing programs run from 3 to 12 months. We agree the timeline in the proposal, before work starts. What a website project includes.

How do I get a quote?

Send us a few lines about your project through the contact page or by email. We reply within 1 hour with next steps, then send a quote once the scope is clear.

What will WPCentrify cost after early access?

Plan prices will be announced at the launch on January 1, 2027. Plans are priced by the number of sites, every feature is on every plan, and early-access members keep launch pricing for 12 months. WPCentrify early access.

Still have a question? Ask us about your project, browse all eight services or read how WPCentrify keeps WordPress sites safe.

Tell us what you’re building.

A short message is enough. We read every enquiry personally and reply with honest next steps, even if that means pointing you elsewhere.
